I’ve been playing piano my whole life and received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from BYU. For 20 years I’ve immersed myself in piano teaching, staying intimately involved with creative music-teaching organizations around the world. I’m constantly growing and learning. I’m committed to every student receiving exactly what they need to cultivate music as a friend for life.
Families in my studio stick around for several years, bringing in younger siblings when they’re ready.
Why do they stay? What does my studio offer?
- a caring mentor with 20 years piano teaching experience
- a highly individualized approach — play the songs & styles you love!
- a knowledgeable teacher with a BYU music degree who stays up-to-date and is always learning
- a creative, hands-on, in-depth piano curriculum
- twice-yearly piano recitals in a warm, supportive environment
My students are prepared to use music in whatever ways they love — unwinding after work, playing in orchestra or jazz band, performing in musical theater, accompanying a church congregation, and much more. Music as a friend for life.
